Breast Care Program

The WDMH Breast Care Program offers screening, diagnosis and treatment – all in one location with rapid access to care. If a mammogram shows abnormalities, women will be scheduled for further testing, biopsies and surgical assessment as required.

WDMH has a Cancer Coach who provides one-on-one support throughout a cancer journey.

WDMH has introduced a program to help identify the location of a breast cancer tumour. The seeds – called MOLLI™ seeds – are the size of a grain of rice. They are injected directly into the tumour, making it easier for the surgeon to find and fully remove the cancer. For more details, speak with your physician.
