The Winchester Residency Experience
Winchester provides a stand-alone rural family medicine environment where residents can experience full spectrum comprehensive community family practice. The program is arranged in a fully integrated longitudinal fashion which provides repeated exposures to multiple sub-areas over time, allowing integration of knowledge in an environment that reflects real rural community practice.
Residents also have the opportunity to gain exposure to multiple interests outside of office practice, including elder care, obstetrics, surgical assisting, emergency medicine, inpatient care and chemotherapy support.
