Here's to the Years!

Good food, great company and plenty of fun
made for a special evening as Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH)
celebrated its 2026 Annual Employee and Appointed Staff Long-Term Service
Awards.
Held on October 22 at the Chesterville
Legion, the annual celebration recognized 65 employees and appointed staff
reaching service milestones, along with nine retirees. Among those being
celebrated were three employees marking 25 years at WDMH, one marking 30 years
and one celebrating an incredible 40 years of service.
“It’s always nice to take an evening to
celebrate our people,” said CEO Cholly Boland. “These milestones represent a
lot of years, a lot of memories and a lot of dedication to WDMH. We’re very
fortunate to have such great people on our team.”
Guests enjoyed dinner, a chance to catch up
with colleagues and entertainment from That Hypnotist Guy, who had the
room completely under his spell. It was a fun way to celebrate some pretty
impressive milestones.
The Long-Term Service Awards are a chance to
pause and recognize the people who have been part of WDMH’s story over the
years. Congratulations to all of this year’s honourees, and thank you for
everything you do for WDMH, our patients, and our community.
