Temporary Full time PROJECT MANAGER
 
Education: Post-secondary diploma or degree, Project
Management Professional Certification or equivalent,
preferred
 
Preferred Experience: Minimum 10 years of project
management experience in planning and implementing
Information/Communications Technology

PRIMARY PURPOSE
The primary responsibility for this position will be to provide Project Management expertise for a range of initiatives being launched or currently underway. This role is accountable for all facets of planning, implementation, and tracking to ensure success.
 
Reporting
This position reports to the Chief Information Officer.
 
Responsibilities
 
·       Ensure project goals and objectives are well defined and the deliverables are met
·         Develop, execute, and adjust project work plans
·        Management of all project aspects including resourcing/funding
·         Stakeholder engagement & management
·         Issue and risk tracking and management
·         Ensure standards of practice are applied, including project documentation development and management
·         Regular reporting on projects for stakeholders and    MOHLTC/eHealth Ontario compliance
·         Monitor and evaluate program/project results and oversee post-implementation evaluation  
·         Provide support to the WDMH Project Management Office
 
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education
·         Post-secondary diploma or degree
·        Project Management Professional Certification or equivalent (preferred)
·         Bilingualism an asset
 
Experience and Skills
·         Superior project management and problem solving skills with a proven track record
·         Minimum 10 years’ experience in planning and implementing in Information/Communications Technology domains
·          Ability to exercise initiative, tact and judgment
·         Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
·         Demonstrated experience in presenting project reports to senior management and stakeholders
·         Soft leadership skills to drive collaborative and team efforts
·        Demonstrated experience in managing complex concurrent projects
·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·         Government or healthcare experience an asset
