A Small Chapter with a Big Finish

The WDMH Foundation is grateful to the
North Russell Women’s Institute for a generous $2,700 donation to Winchester
District Memorial Hospital’s General Equipment Fund. This contribution will
help purchase essential medical equipment that supports care for patients and
families across our region.
The donation comes as the North
Russell branch wraps up its local chapter and prepares to amalgamate with the
Russell Village Women’s Institute. As part of this transition, members chose to
invest their remaining funds in WDMH, the hospital that has long cared for
their community.
It is a meaningful way to honour the
branch’s history while continuing its longstanding commitment to giving back.
Although the North Russell branch is concluding its work, its spirit of
generosity lives on through the Russell Village Women’s Institute and in the
care this gift will help provide.
Through this final donation, the North
Russell Women’s Institute leaves a legacy that will be felt at WDMH for years
to come.
